Philadelphia
We went to Philadelphia this weekend for a party and had a great time! It's only about three hours away but we just never seem to go north. I think it's because of the beltway traffic, and this time of year the weather isn't very good. It was a retirement party and the food was good and the people were very nice. We stopped in Wilmington, Delaware on the way back and had breakfast at a place called The Golden Castle Diner - it was YUMMY! Good old fashion country cooking. They had juke boxes on each table too! We have decided to take a trip to Philly this spring and look at the Liberty Bell, museums, libraries, and other touristy things. It is cold here and going to get colder over the next several days. I guess that's what they make fireplaces for...:)

Glad to hear that you had a good trip. I will be much better when the weather is nice. Isn't it fun to go somewhere different??
I do like going different places. We've been so many places west and south we will try going north a few times. I have always wanted to go to Vermont, so we may do that soon too.
